History
Hello, I am the founder of Pixel Coffee Co., for decades I was a utilitarian coffee drinker. Everyday before work I poured cup after cup of mass market coffee, drowning it in cream and sugar to mask the taste of something I only drank for the caffeine boost. I never really liked coffee. Someone gifted me a bag of specialty coffee and I promptly poured it into the industrial Bunn coffee machine at work, and drowned it in creamer... but there was something different about this coffee. The next cup, I left out the creamer, and at that moment I realized I didn't dislike coffee, I disliked bad coffee.
This sent me down the coffee rabbit hole, learning about beans, roasts, farms, brewing methods, etc. It was all very interesting, but also very dry and boring if not down right pompous sometimes. Why?
Mission
I decided to build a brand of coffee. I wanted it to be fun, with the quality of the industry leading enthusiast, but less... pretentious. This led me to where we are now. Offering you the best specialty grade coffee beans, at the best price, with a gaming themed twist, because who doesn't love a good videogame, especially one shared with friends and family, much like a good cup of specialty coffee. An experience that brings us all back to those early morning gaming sessions while our parents brewed a pot, or those long nights together with friends playing couch co-ops, downing gallons of caffeine.
